Here’s the kick off for making dubstep inside propellerhead Reason 4. Initially I’ll start about the drumtrack, since this part is gonna be an important factor. After this I’ll expand the series with a couple of ideas you might need for making bass lines since the drum track and bass lines are the heart of dubstep.

Simple question, how do you draw that straight line in the velocity part on the sequencer? I could do it in reason 3, but since changing to reason 4, i have been unable to figure this out lol. Cheers
@richythepianoman when the pencil tool is selected press and hold the control key on a pc, or command key on a mac. And ctrl + alt when the mouse tool (default) is selected.
@richythepianoman Pretty sure you right click and drag to draw lines in the velocity section.

from where do I get the drum samples?
@AORNOfficial there’s a thing called the internet. its pretty big. Do some digging. I used samples from 2001 which I grabbed from a place called trax in space. That thing doesn’t exist anymore so I can’t link you up with those
