www.hydlide.nl I am just gonna make fun of thor right now… Thor is a quick and easy ‘thing’ to get some stereo going on. However, there are some tricks and tips you might find usefull to get more out of the Reason rack then just using the ‘stereo’ chorus/delay of Thor. In this part I explain the ‘basic’ principles what stereo separation is, and later on i will go more heavy on the wiring…

    Isn’t a spreading delay amount between left and right channels? You can easily do this by putting the same sound (16 saw for example)on hard pan left and hard pan right. And then delay the source for a 25ms on the right or left, not both. I’m FL user, and this was the technique producers used on mixers in early ’70. Then they used EQ to make it even more different from one to each other. I used Reason a lot btw, and nice tutorial ;)
