@digitally2007 Hey, yeah i use mixed in key… then put the songs in the colour that represent the key on the mixed in key wheel.

Do you precue in headphones when DJ’ing w/ the APC 40??
@ilikes2party … yeah I Do, my soundcard has a two separate different outputs. I use one for Master channel & one for headphones. I don’t really need to precue tho, i know most of the loops and songs like the back of my hand, i only really cue if i forget what a new tune is.

awsome tutorial!! i really need to get into ableton mixing, only thing holding me back at the moment is it seems like it takes some of the fun outta mixin. im sure when i giv it a try ill change my mind tho.

@emils777 Hey mate, The effect is created using lives ‘Simple Delay’. For this I have 3 things mapped to the one knob, I have the ‘Dry Wet’, Feedback, & L Time Delay. The delay L & R is on sync. Also you have to right click on the top of the simple delay and change the settings to ‘REPITCH» VERY IMPORTANT or the cool pitch shift wont work as in the video. Thats it. dave
