Adding guitar to a freakshift Dialect jam I wrote the other day. www.myspace.com I use Propellerhead Reason and record. I also have a m-audio Axiom 61, Presonus FP10. Mac OS with dual monitors. KRK Rokits v6. Audio Technica at3035 condenser mic.

All good man
yeah I would most def add reverb to the strings, so its just noticeable. I would also add the tiny’est bit of reverb or a chorus effect to the guitars so you can barely hear the effect even whenthe guitars are solo’d, I would use the Reverb or chorus as a send effect for both, but that just me aye.
Yeah I figured that this beat wasn’t at it finishing stages.
But anyways good shit and keep it up
Peace
@KidWuzi I can feel that bro! Yeah I’ll mess with it and see what happens. I think I misunderstood you at first. My bad! I’ll keep the beats comin though!

All good no worries mate just trying to give you some ideas and help a fellow Propellerhead user.
Looking forward to some more beats soon
Nice track bro…im using reason and now im ready 2 step it up with Record! lol
now this beat was dope bro, what advantages you see in having record over just reason alone? i been debating on buying record but besides being able to record isntruments direct into it what other advantages do you feel you get with having the combo?
I would say the ease of mixing and also the powerful effects make it amazing. I LOVE the vocoder vocal effect. Another advantage, you can change the speed of audio files in record with absolutely no loss in quality. This is great for sampling hip hop beats. I would say the ease of use and the awesome compression settings are a huge plus. I use only records compressor when recording vocals and my vocals come out crispy!
oh ok man thanks a lot that def helps with my decision, i can’t even lie record looks very dope! i love the interface
what are you using to record currently?
Currently I am using reason but I track out to logic for the extra stuff I am hoping that record would cut logic out the picture for most needs since the rewired is not flawless so maybe record can be the daw and I will only track out to logic for the extra stuff that record won’t be able to do like vsts and au
Did you use the drums from the Thor? The 808′s from Thor?
Yeah, I use the thor 808′s.
Yeah it makes thing more convenient and eliminates the stress of having to go back and forth between programs. Record is a silent Giant though. Don’t be fooled to think that this just like the other sound production programs out there. It really is quite amazing!
Esco
props
got some dre sounds there kid..
Nice work. Dope beats. You using just the stock Line 6 amps?
@v1o Yeah I use line 6 stock amps currently. They work well for me and can be tweaked pretty well.
@disciple21781 I currently use a presonus fp10 and a audio techniqa 3035. I have a vocal booth that I use to record vocals. I also use the record software compression for vocals. It works perfectly and saved me about $1,000.00 since I don’t have to purchase a hardware compressor. The quality is beyond anything I’ve ever used and the mixer is modeled after the SSL 9000k analog mixing desk and is amazing!
good beat, is it a play off of Requim To A Dream
@freakshiftdialect nice
hey how is the at3035 on rap and singin vocals?
nice bass man!! where’d you get that?
shit is hard
@yuraymarstewart I just uses the 808 refill in reason for bass.
@Tracks0nDeck the at3035 is actually perfect for rapping but not so good for vocals. I would suggest a shure sm7 for singing.
@disciple21781 actually it’s not, but I’ll have to watch it and see what you mean.
