Still wondering whether I should get one of these Remote SL’s or a Nocturn. I play from time to time, nothing major, but am a big fan of quality feel.
@mfarkasmusic The pads are much more responsive than the Mk. I. Some people still prefer the Akai MPK but I think this is the best midi controller I’ve ever used.
The automap software makes it more intuitive than any other product to be honest.
@ace101guy It comes with automap. Then you can use this with all the major DAWs.

Probably a silly question to ask, but how do you pre-determine how long you want to make a loop? I’ve been trying to work it out all day
For example I loop live cymbals but always have a limited last bar as I have to dive to a button to end the looping… is there a way I could make every loop 8 bars or so? Same applies for midi instruments

@simplybeinme No, it’s just a controller. All the sounds are coming from Live.

An absolutely gorgeous track. Q: Before you start, do you need to preset the Novation to your planned melody and rythms or just a blanc start? Tapping along the bar I find your timing absolutely tight. How is the new version getting along and what is the totle?
